A golden finish for modern country living

Will & Lucy had just finished renovating the inside of their Welwyn home and wanted the outside to match the relaxed, modern-country feel they'd created indoors. They chose Golden Quartz in 2–5mm — a warm, sandy gold with a medium texture that lends itself beautifully to that rustic-but-smart look. We were able to lay it over the existing tarmac base, filling a few minor potholes during preparation, and the whole driveway went down in a single day with a team of five on site.

Having watched the transformation next door, Emily & Tom decided to replace their own tired tarmac driveway with resin bound too. They picked Autumn Quartz in 2–5mm — one of our most popular blends — a quartz with flecks of darker stone and a warm honey-and-cream hue that gives a natural, even surface with plenty of character. As with next door, we were able to repair the divots in the existing drive and lay the resin straight onto the old tarmac base.
